Solution
How we approached it
We ran a full-day AI discovery workshop with the practice principal and practice manager, covering the current AI landscape, practical use cases specific to dental operations (patient recall, appointment management, clinical documentation support, and NHS reporting), and an honest assessment of what would and would not be feasible for a practice of their size. The session included a structured prioritisation exercise and left the team with a clear shortlist of two to three areas worth exploring further.
The principal left with a prioritised action plan and, critically, the confidence to make decisions. Within six weeks of the workshop they had commissioned a patient recall automation pilot, budgeted for a clinical documentation tool evaluation, and shared the session notes with their accountant to make the case for investment.
